Xmas Still Life in soft pastel

This was a rush job for the same fundraiser. It suddenly occurred to me that maybe the summery/harvesty sunflowers and oils and seeds would not be the best theme right now, with a foot of snow on the ground and it being almost Xmas season,  even though the local retailers have started puking all the falalalala shinies all over the store fronts since BEFORE Halloween - sacrilege! (Of course, this thought hasn't occurred to me anytime during the 3+ months it took me to complete the original painting...) So, with exactly one week to go before the big event, I decide to pull off a more season-appropriate painting. Took me 6 days to complete. Nothing like cramming for a deadline, lol
